Escapement Studio
Escapement Studio began as a small bench tucked into a quiet corner of Nimmanhaemin Road, set up by a watchmaker who preferred slow, deliberate work over quick turnaround. The name comes from the escapement itself — the small mechanism that regulates a watch's beat — and reflects the studio's approach: patience, precision, and a respect for the mechanism as it is.
Over the years the studio has grown into a place where owners bring watches that carry some history — a piece from a parent, a first purchase after years of saving, or simply a daily companion that has started to show its age. Each visit begins the same way: an unhurried look at the piece, followed by a plain conversation about what might help.
There is no pressure to decide on the spot. Some owners return weeks later, once they have had time to think. The studio is built to accommodate that pace, not to work against it.
